Interlocks and control stations can be connected to industrial networks thanks to the proNet option pod. amGardpro can communicate via PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT, with safety I/O communicated using PROFIsafe, CIP Safety, or Safety over EtherCAT (FSoE), respectively.

The highly configurable design of the networked option pods allows the incorporation of elements such as pushbutton controls, integrated safety I/O, as well as connectors for external and distributed I/O.
