The mounting plate for PBL comes in three variations to support the installation on different brands of light curtains.
Suitable for use in a wide variety of applications. Able to operate in dirty, dusty environments and where harsh wash-down procedures are required.
With the key removed, the interlock safety contacts cannot be closed (IBL) and the light curtain beam cannot be restored (PBL), preventing unexpected start-up.
Additional personnel entering the area can prevent unexpected start-up by applying padlocks to either the dustcover (for PBL) or the interlock blocking plate (for IBL).
Different orientations available to suit custom applications. Suitable for guards opening/sliding to the left or right, or for either end of a light curtain.
Depending on the light curtain, the PBL blocking plate is available in three different sizes to appropriately block the light beam.

Interlock blocking devices (IBL) mechanically prevent hinged (IBL-H) or sliding guards (IBL-S) from closing.
This prevents the interlock safety contacts from closing whilst operators are within the safeguarded space.
With photoelectric blocking devices (PBL) the rotation of a blocking plate interrupts the light curtain beam.
PBL come in multiple configurations to support installation on different branded light curtain.
