The Key Operated Switch
How can Key-Transfer systems be utilised for mode selection between Manual and Automatic Mode?
The key operated switch (BK) can be used to swap between modes through the rotation of a key. This module can be integrated into a full interlocking solution or act as a standalone device as part of a key sequence. The rotation of the key operates a 2NC/2NO contact arrangement.
A key receiving switch is typically located inside a safeguarded space and key from a guard interlock on the door. This can helps to prevent machine restart or operate a different mode. A key releasing switch is typically located outside a safeguarded space and typically used for requesting machine stop or entry.
