At Fortress we love supporting our local communities.

Supporting the communities around us not only benefits the communities themselves, but it can be deeply rewarding for us too.

On Friday the 5th of November, some of our colleagues headed over to Baggeridge Country Park in Staffordshire to help with some conservation tasks. Our teams took part in tree cutting in order to preserve the heather. Without this management, the area would become shrub and woodland.

Baggeridge Country Park is a beautiful area of countryside on the doorstep of the Black Country, with a great range of facilities on offer. The park has been a Green Flag winner every year since 1998 which is an international mark of quality for parks and green spaces.

December 3rd our teams will head back to Baggeridge again to help with litter picking and more conservation tasks. Thank you to everybody that got and continues to get involved. We look forward to making this a regular activity!
