A 2NC, 1NO safety switch that will generate a stop command any time that the guard is open. This is an ideal solution for applications that do not require guard locking or integrated machine controls.
Guard Lock with Integrated Machine Control
This guard lock will not allow access to the safeguarded space until permitted by the control system. A Personnel key is available for an operator to carry during access to help prevent unexpected restart. This device also has machine controls built into the unit.
This guard lock has a Power-to-Unlock solenoid with safety switch, meaning it can only be opened after being permitted by the control system and will only fail to a safe state.
Guard Lock with Trapped Key Integrated
This guard lock has a personnel key and access key integrated into the device. This allows access to be restricted only to key holders whilst the personnel key can be carried by operators to prevent unexpected restart.
Guard Lock with Escape Release
Another example of a Power-to-Unlock solenoid with safety switch. This device includes an escape release, which overrides the locking mechanism and creates a stop command, allowing for quick escape in an emergency.
This device does not contain a safety switch and is a standalone Control Station complete with an emergency stop, indicator lamp and pushbuttons. A great all-in-one solution where interlocking is not required, or used in conjunction with other Fortress Interlock systems.
