The FRANK solution prevents unauthorised users from entering safeguarded spaces thus ensuring that machines are accessed and operated only by fully trained personnel.
While this does not eliminate the hazard, it prevents the risks associated with unqualified employees accessing those safeguarded areas and/or performing hazardous tasks. Our system enables setting individual access permissions for various entry/exit points and associating them with the RFID card of each user, which can be used to set and amend entry regulations within the facility.
Through our research, we have found that many organizations provide RFID cards to their employees for building access, recording time and attendance, and even to purchase lunch from the canteen.
So, we decided to integrate these existing employee RFID badges with our solution to control access to machinery. We support all popular manufacturers’ protocols across a range of card frequencies including (but not limited to) 13.56mHz & 125kHz cards.
