Overview
Compact RFID coded interlock with guard locking for safe access to machinery providing the highest level of safety up to PLe/Cat. 4. Atom has a high level coded RFID actuator to reduce the possibility of defeat.
The compact size with a small footprint and multiple mounting orientations make this solution simple to mount out of reach for further peace of mind. Designed for ease of install, units come pre-wired with quick disconnects and require just two mounting points. Optional escape release is available for units mounted forward facing.
Guards which drop or become misaligned or even very tight spaces are no problem for the Atom. The actuator has a retention force of 8kN and can pivot and self-centre to cope with a high degree of misalignment. Easy to maintain, with an open design to prevent dust and dirt build up. Atom supports OSSD output (Output Signal Switching Device) with daisy-chain connections. A handy LED on the bottom of the unit indicates what state the device is in: guard open, guard closed, or a fault.
