Fortress Safety has been Honoured with the King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade

Announced on 6th May, the Award recognises Fortress Safety’s excellence in international trade, with outstanding growth in overseas sales over the last three years, alongside growth in total turnover and net profits. This is the result of the hard work and dedication of all our staff at our head office in Wolverhampton and our other locations in the United States, Europe, and APAC, as well as the great support of our customers and channel partners.

With market-leading products, Fortress is well placed to keep people safe not just in the UK but in workplaces all around the world.

Thanks to our expertise we help customers navigate the complexity of safety regulations and support with the design of tailored solutions that not only protect people, but also ensure operations run as efficiently as possible.

Pete Browitt, our managing director, said: “We are thrilled to be the recipients of the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise. This recognition is a testament to the remarkable growth of our company and the significant increase in our overseas sales, all of which has been made possible by the relentless efforts of our dedicated team and our global network of partners. Receiving this award is a milestone that reaffirms our belief in the work we do and feeds our ambition to grow further and live our purpose of saving lives by providing the best safety solutions”.

We are delighted to be among the recipients of such a prestigious award. Being recognised with the King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade 2024 adds to our previous success with the Queen’s Awards for Innovation in 2007, and International Trade in 2008 and 2018.
